The amendment is as follows: <br /> <br />From: <br />3308.47 Federal Grants General $312,716 <br /> Job Access and Reverse Commute <br /> Total $312,716 <br />To: <br />010.311.5311.56 Job Access and Reverse Commute Grant General $312,716 <br /> Total $312,716 <br /> <br />The State of Hawai'i Department of Transportation has authorized a Job Access and Reverse <br />Commute grant to the Hawai'i County Mass Transit Agency. These grant funds, derived from <br />the Federal Transit Administration, is intended to provide increased transportation service for <br />working commuters and for those seeking employment. It will be used to fund operating costs to <br />establish additional routes and frequency of bus service, which include additional weekday and <br />weekend service. <br /> <br />Pursuant to Section 46-7, Hawai'i Revised Statutes, and Section 13-13(b), Hawai'i County <br />Charter, the Mayor is hereby authorized to apply for, receive and expend the funds for the Mass <br />Transit Agency. <br /> <br />There was no discussion on this measure. <br /> <br />FC Rept.
