<br />COUNTY OF HAWAI'I STATE OF HAWAI'I <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 277 09 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 371-07 RELATING TO <br />THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR AND MORE <br />THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI-YEAR LEASE OF REAL <br />PROPERTY FOR THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY CLERK-ELECTIONS <br />DIVISION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No. 371-07, adopted on October 17, 2007, authorized <br /> <br />the County of Hawai'j to enter into a multi-year lease agreement for a satellite Elections <br /> <br />Office for the Elections Division of the Office of the County Clerk and for sufficient funds <br /> <br />to be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the anticipated obligations of the County <br /> <br />under the lease agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this satellite Elections Office located at the Pahoa Market Place <br /> <br />Shopping Center (15-2662 Pahoa Village Road, Pahoa. Hawai'i 96778) has since been <br /> <br />closed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, with the lease's expiration date stili set for July 31,2012, the County <br /> <br />of Hawal'l plans to initially use that real property space for the Pahoa Council Office and <br /> <br />perhaps other County needs later in the future. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY <br /> <br />OF HAWAI'I, that the authorization of the payment of funds of a later fiscal year and <br /> <br />more than one fiscal year, in Resolution No 371-07, may be used for the Pahoa Council <br /> <br />Office and other County needs, deemed necessary <br />
