BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS <br /> NEEDED): <br /> <br /> The Pana`ewa Rainforest Zoo & Gardens Halloween ZooBoo event was held on <br /> Saturday, October 31, 2009, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. In support of this event, <br /> several businesses and the Boy Scouts of America, Pukahi District donated merchandise <br /> gift cards and Halloween treat packets. <br /> <br /> Blue Hawaiian Helicopters donated a tour for 2 for a lucky Halloween drawing. <br /> <br /> This very successful event included free games, crafts, costume contest and face <br /> painting, with over 1,400 keiki and adults in attendance.
