No. 609/Res. 270-09 <br /> <br />Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations, to which was referred <br />Communication 609 and Resolution 270-09, reports as follows: <br /> <br />Resolution 270-09, transmitted via Communication No. 609 transmitted November 2, 2009 from <br />council member Dennis Onishi, names the Resource Library at the Aging and Disability <br />Resource Center after the late Sally Leilani Wehrsig, at the request of Alan Parker, County <br />Executive on Aging. <br /> <br />There were no public testifiers. <br /> <br />Mr. Onishi shared how this facility is a place for information and support for elderly healthcare, <br />and a place to research how to get assistance. Sally Wehrsig made this library a place of comfort <br />and a source for valuable information. She also helped acquire nice furnishings, appropriate for <br />the users of the center.
