Archaeological/Cultural/Historical Resources: No archaeological inventory survey <br />was prepared, as the property was previously used for sugar cane. Similarly, no valued <br />cultural or historical resources exist on the site. No traditional and customary native <br />Hawaiian rights are exercised on the site. By letter dated July 2,2009, the DLNR State <br />Historic Preservation Division determined that no historic properties will be affected <br />because previous grading/grubbing and urbanization have altered the land. <br />16. Public Access: There is no public access to the mountains or the shoreline that traverses <br />the property. <br />UTILITIES AND SERVICES <br />17. Access: Access to the property is via a 30-foot wide road and utility easement identified <br />as "RU-11" from Komohana Street, which is a County owned roadway with a 25-foot <br />pavement width within an 80-foot wide right-of-way fronting the property. A No <br />Vehicular Access 10-foot wide Planting Screen Easement is identified along Komohana <br />Street fronting the property. <br />18. Water: According to the Department of Water Supply, County water is available from <br />an existing 12-inch waterline fronting the property within Komohana Street. <br />19. Wastewater: The property is currently not serviced by the County sewer system. <br />Wastewater will be disposed by an individual wastewater system meeting the <br />requirements of the Department of Health. <br />20. Solid Waste: There are no municipal waste collection services in the County. Allsolid <br />waste generated by the development will require private disposal at the Hilo Landfill. <br />21.
