BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that it <br /> hereby urges the State Legislature to support a Farm -To- School program, and implement a <br /> statewide Farm -To- School policy, as proposed in SB 1179. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County's Department of Research and <br /> Development also look into creating incentives and initiatives that would help our County's <br /> farmers and schools work together on implementing similar FTS programs. <br /> BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward copies of this <br /> resolution to the members of the Hawaii State Legislature; the members of County Council of <br /> Kauai, Maui, and the City and County of Honolulu; the Honorable William P. Kenoi, Mayor, <br /> County of Hawaii; the Honorable Bernard P.
