Mr. Hosaka is a 46 -year resident of Hawai'i. <br /> Since 2006, he is employed as a Civil Defense Staff Officer at the County of Hawai'i <br /> Civil Defense Agency. From 1994 to 2006, he was employed by the County of Hawai'i <br /> Department of Parks and Recreation. <br /> Mr. Hosaka states that he is not affiliated with any political party. He recently served as <br /> a member of the County of Hawai'i Transportation Commission. His term expired on <br /> December 31. 2009 However, because he served out an unexpired term replacing <br /> Ms. Kate Ahia, he is eligible for reappointment.
