t , <br /> Project Number 08 -WF -07 <br /> C O N T R A C T <br /> THIS CONTRACT, executed on the respective dates <br /> indicated below, is effective as of July 1, 2010, by and between <br /> the Department of the Attorney General, State of Hawaii, <br /> hereinafter called "Agency," by and through the Attorney <br /> General, and the Hawaii Police Department, hereinafter called <br /> "Grantee." <br /> WITNESSETH <br /> WHEREAS, Title IV of the Violent Crime Control and Law <br /> Enforcement Act of 1994, 42 U. S. C. 3796 et seq., as amended <br /> (hereinafter "Act "), was enacted to make grants to states for <br /> developing and strengthening effective law enforcement and <br /> prosecutorial strategies and victim services in cases involving <br /> crimes against women.
