Sako <br />Deputy Director <br />N <br />Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance adding the Mamalahoa Bypass Mitigation Measures <br />project, for $1,000,000 of County funds and for $243,000 of Fair Share funds, to this fiscal <br />year's Capital Budget. These appropriations are needed to address community safety <br />concerns with the anticipated increased traffic on Ali`i Drive and Haleki`i Street when the <br />Mamalahoa Bypass is opened. These concerns are primarily related to motorists <br />speeding through a residential neighborhood and difficulties of residents accessing their <br />driveways. <br />If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Department of Public Works. <br />Coma Dio.
