CAPITAL PROJECT ELIGIBIILTY (List Criteria): Provide traffic signals at Ali'i Drive (Hualalai, Lunapule, Royal Poinciana, Kaleiopapa), pedestrian signal on Haleki'i, construct separate community <br />(bike and pedestrian) pathway mauka on Ali'i Drive from Kamehameha Highway to Kaleiopapa, resolve right -of -way encroachments along Ali'i Drive for bike and pedestrians, upgrade traffic <br />a ipnals nn Haleki'i and M- malahna. <br />10. PROJECT /PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The above road improvements are needed to address community safety concerns with the anticipated increased traffic on Ali'i Drive and Haleki'i Street <br />when the Mamalahoa Bypass is opened. These concerns are primarily related to motorists speeding through a residential neighborhood and difficulties of residents accessing their driveways. <br />11.
