BILL NO. 277 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 <br /> (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I: <br /> SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 4, section 24 -278, schedule 26 (roads <br /> closed to pedestrian traffic), subsection (f) Kona, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 <br /> Edition, as amended), is amended by adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to <br /> read as follows: <br /> ( ) Haleki`i Street, from the Mamalahoa Bypass Highway intersection <br /> to a point 0.76 mile in the easterly direction. <br /> ( ) Mamalahoa Bypass Highway, from the Ali`i Drive intersection to <br /> the Haleki`i Street intersection. <br /> SECTION 2. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is <br /> underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and stricken material <br /> and underscoring need not be included. <br /> SECTION 3. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person <br /> or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications <br /> of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to <br /> this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br />
