Naeole- Beason, Council Vice Chair <br />Date: July 20, 2010 <br />Subject: Proposed Amendment to Bill 270; Repeal and Replace Article 5 of Bill 270 (Relating to the <br />International Energy Conservation Code) <br />Article 5 of Bill 270 adopts the International Energy Conservation Code 2006 Edition, as amended. <br />The attached proposed amendment replaces Article 5 of Bill 270 in its entirety by adopting the 2009 <br />International Energy Conservation Code, with "local" amendments. <br />No other amendments to Bill 270 are proposed via this communication. <br />As Bill 270 consists of 86 pages, only the proposed amendments are attached. Please note as well that <br />both the clean version and Ramseyer format versions of the "local" amendments to the 2009 <br />International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) are attached.
