December 2, 1991: Effective date of Ordinance No. 91 116 which changed the district <br /> classification of the subject property from A -la to CN -20. The applicant requested the <br /> change of zone to establish a supermarket on the site. The property was also the subject <br /> of a State Land Use Boundary Amendment from Agricultural to Urban. <br /> 5. November 25, 1992: One -year administrative extension of time to December 2, 1993 <br /> granted to comply with Condition B (secure Final Plan Approval). <br /> 6. November 26, 1993: Final Plan Approval No. 2902 granted. Pursuant to Condition C, <br /> construction of the proposed supermarket should have commenced within one year from <br /> the date of Final Plan Approval. <br /> 7. October 31, 1994: Applicant requests extension of time to commence construction. <br /> 8. December 28, 1994: Letter to applicant that Ordinance No. 91 116 does not allow the <br /> Planning Director to grant another administrative extension of time, and any requests for <br /> a time extension must be considered by the Planning Commission and County Council. <br /> 9. November 26, 1995: Expiration date of FPA No. 2902 since plans were not utilized <br /> within two years from Final Plan Approval. <br /> 10. August 30, 1996: Landowner /applicant informed that the Planning Department will <br /> initiate downzoning of the parcel due to non - compliance with the conditions of approval. <br /> 11. September 13, 1996: Applicant requests that downzoning not be initiated, as potential <br /> lessees are being sought. <br /> 12. February 15, 2000: County Council requests Planning Director to downzone the <br /> property to its original designation of A -la. <br /> 13.
