WHEREAS, the 'Governor has designated Agency to serve <br /> as Hawaii's office for administering the federal financial <br /> assistance available under the Act and Recovery; <br /> WHEREAS, Grantee is qualified to receive funds <br /> available to Hawaii under the Act and Recovery and their <br /> respective implementing regulations contained in the STOP <br /> Violence Against Women Formula Grant Program Guidance, and 28 <br /> C.F.R. Chapter 1, Part 66, and under Recovery and has applied to <br /> Agency for receipt of the same as a subgrantee; <br /> WHEREAS, Agency has reviewed Grantee's application for <br /> funds, and is satisfied that all of the requirements of the Act <br /> and Recovery and their respective implementing regulations have <br /> been satisfied and that Grantee is capable of using the federal <br /> funds requested appropriately; <br /> WHEREAS, Grantee has demonstrated the capacity to <br /> provide the services, programs and activities described herein <br /> and is ready, willing and able to provide the required services, <br /> programs and activities; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, Agency and Grantee for and in <br /> consideration of the covenants, conditions, agreements, and <br /> 7 <br /> (revised 5/2010) <br />
