These monies, derived from federal funding, will be used to purchase safety <br /> equipment for personnel at all of the fire stations. In the current fiscal year's budget, <br /> $50,000 was appropriated in anticipation of this grant. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget and increasing the <br /> Volunteer Fire Assistance account by $34,187.50. <br /> If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Hawaii Fire Department. <br /> Nancy .
