BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The Hawai'i County Fire Department applied for and was notified of the approval of the grant application for <br /> the FY2011 Volunteer Fire Assistance Grant Program for $84,187.50 or $34,187.50 more than the FY2011 <br /> budgeted amount of $50,000.
