REQUEST: <br />To enter into a multi -year lease agreement for five (5) years for hundred (100) Mobile Data Terminal to be <br />used in various locations throughout the island. <br />B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br />The Police Department would like to obtain a 5 year lease for hundred (100) mobile data terminals (MDT) to <br />be placed in various officer's vehicles throughout the County. Leasing of the MDTs will give the officers <br />immediate access to the data base to check warrants, TROs, and prior arrest information. Immediate access <br />to this type of information will also improve safety to the officers who are out patroling.
