(4) Corrections and community corrections programs. <br /> (5) Drug treatment programs. <br /> (6) Planning, evaluation, and technology improvement <br /> programs. <br /> (7) Crime victim and witness programs. <br /> WHEREAS, the Governor has designated Agency to serve <br /> as Hawaii's office for administering the federal financial <br /> assistance available under the Act; <br /> WHEREAS, Grantee, as an agency of the County of <br /> Hawaii, is qualified to receive funds available to Hawaii under <br /> the Act and its implementing regulations, contained in the <br /> Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) State <br /> Solicitation, and 28 C.F.R. Chapter 1, Part 66, and has applied <br /> to Agency for receipt of the same as a subgrantee; <br /> WHEREAS, Agency has reviewed Grantee's application for <br /> funds, and is satisfied that all of the requirements of the Act <br /> and its respective implementing regulations have been satisfied <br /> and that Grantee is capable of using the federal funds requested <br /> appropriately; <br /> 2 <br />
