This project is to plan, design, <br /> and construct a new county park site on a 20 -acre parcel anticipated to be dedicated to the <br /> County. The central location of HPP relative to the numerous residential subdivisions in <br /> lower Puna make it an attractive site for a public recreational hub. <br /> The project initially proposes to establish grassed sports fields, perimeter fencing, a multi - <br /> sport covered play court facility, a comfort station and related infrastructure necessary to <br /> provide safe public recreational opportunities (i.e., parking, lighting, potable water, power, <br /> etc.).
