REQUEST: <br /> Prepare County Council submittal authorizing the Finance Director to grant an easement for water meter box <br /> purposes to the Water Board of the County of Hawaii. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The Church of Latter Day Saints (LDS) constructed new classrooms at their Honoka'a Ward site located at <br /> 45 -3259 Hawaii Belt Road, Honoka'a, Hawaii, Tax Map Key: (3)4 -5- 003:069. Building permit requirements <br /> included the installation of a new water line and hydrant to service the additional facilites. LDS requested an <br /> easement from the County of Hawaii to place a water meter box on a portion of the County's parcel, <br /> identified as Tax Map Key: (3)4 -5- 003:018. <br /> The easement will be in favor of the Water Board of the County of Hawaii and will assist LDS to be in <br /> compliance with building code requirements for the new classroom facilities. <br /> SIGNED: DATE: DEC 1 C 2010 <br /> Departm t Head <br />
