What is the expected useful life of a landfill equipped D8 bulldozer? <br /> Answer: Twenty plus years — with maintenance including major rebuilds. Example: the <br /> County's D8N was purchased in 1991 for $276,000. In 2008, $151,000 was spent <br /> reconditioning the engine. It is currently undergoing $160,000 worth of various repairs <br /> and maintenance. The PTA bulldozer is also a 1991 D8N. <br /> 14. How many bulldozers are at each location, what type, how old, owned by county, leased <br /> from private vendor, etc.?
