Sako <br />Deputy Director <br />Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating an <br />additional $2,741,000 into Office of Housing and Community Development's Housing <br />Voucher Program. This increase in appropriation reflects the updated allocation to be <br />received from the.U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the period <br />July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010 for the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Program. <br />The $2,741,000 is to be used for payment of rental assistance for eligible participants of <br />the program.
