Mr. Whittemore is a lifelong resident of <br />Hawaii. He is a retired banker who worked for the First Hawaiian Bank from 1971 to <br />1999. From 1999 to 2004, he was a Trustee with the Parker Ranch Foundation Trust. <br />Mr. Whittemore recently served as a member of the Hawaii County Police Commission. <br />He states that he is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, he will serve a <br />five -year term to end on December 31, 2015, replacing Fredric G.
