BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The department's black and white copy machine is almost 8 years old and requires frequent repairs. <br /> Upgrading to a faster, more technologically advanced machine will lower monthly costs and allow staff to <br /> increase their productivity. <br /> The current machine is being leased for $330.82 per month plus $.0182 for each black and white copy in <br /> excess of the monthly print allowance. <br /> A new lease for a multi- function copy machine will cost approximately $325.00 per month plus $.0099 for <br /> each black and white copy in excess of the monthly print allowance.
