Kenoi, via Communication No. 136 dated March 3, 2011, <br /> is an Ordinance amending Section 25 -8 -33 (City of Hilo zone map), Article 8, Chapter 25 (Zoning <br /> Code) of the Hawai'i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition), by changing the district classification from <br /> Agricultural — three acres (A -3a) to Single - Family Residential — 40,000 square feet (RS -40) at Waiakea, <br /> South Hilo, Hawai'i, covered by tax map key 2- 4- 070:portion 001. <br /> Mr. Michael Frenz, the applicant, was present and did not have any comments but offered to answer <br /> questions. <br /> Councilmember Yoshimoto stated that Mr. Frenz is in his district and he supports this bill. <br /> Councilmember Ford asked if the drainage channel overflows or causes problems; and if the parcel <br /> being divided was abutting the stream. <br /> Mr. Frenz replied that the parcel is abutting the stream but does not overflow. <br /> Your Committee on Planning is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 34 and <br /> recommends it pass first reading. <br /> mkh <br /> AYES NOES A &E EX Respectfully submitted, <br /> BLAS X <br /> FORD x COMMITTEE ON PLANNING <br /> HOFFMANN X <br /> IKEDA X <br /> ONISHI X <br /> PILAGO X _ k`!
