This certificate is furnished in compliance with Chapter 19, Article <br /> 11, Section 19 -90(d) of the Hawaii County Code, as amended. <br /> The total value of net taxable real property is $24,406,104,551. This amount is <br /> $1,112,738,343 lower than the previous year. This represents a 4.36 percent decrease <br /> compared to the previous tax year. The estimated gross value of new residential <br /> construction is $182,537,700 and commercial construction is $24,632,000. <br /> A total of 1,010 appeals were filed, as compared to 1,034 in the previous year.
