He presently is employed as a sports writer at <br /> Stephens Media Group and is executive director of the Big Island Marathon. <br /> Mr. Joseph has been a past member of the County of Hawaii's Cost of Government <br /> Commission and Board of Ethics. He states that he is not affiliated with any political party. If <br /> confirmed, he will fill a term to expire on December 31, 2011, replacing Kelly Ann Soo, who <br /> resigned. Since Mr. Joseph will be serving a remaining term that is less than two years, he will <br /> be eligible to succeed himself for an additional full term of five years, beginning on the expiration <br /> date of his current term and expiring on December 31, 2016. <br /> Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at your convenience.
