Purpose. To repeal Section 2 -96, Meal allowance for nonovernight travel, <br /> from the Hawai`i County Code. Repeal of this section will eliminate the practice of providing <br /> meal allowances for employees who travel beyond the district adjacent to their usual place of <br /> work and have working hours that extend across normal meal times. <br /> SECTION 2.
