REPORT OF THE <br /> COMMITTEE ON FINANCE <br /> DATE: July 6, 2011 Re: Comm. 244//Res. 89-11 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 2:33 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 89-11, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 89-11, transmitted by Director of Finance Nancy Crawford via <br /> Communication No. 244, dated June 22, 2011, authorizes the acceptance of a monetary donation <br /> of$5,000 from an anonymous source. The money will be used by the Department of Parks and <br /> Recreation to support the Big Island Basketball Officiating Clinic by providing the funds to the <br /> Big Island Basketball Officials Association for travel expenses of the trainers of the clinic.
