REPORT OF THE <br /> COMMITTEE ON FINANCE <br /> DATE: July 6, 2011 Re: Comm. 248//Res. 93-11 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 2:33 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 93-11, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 93-11, transmitted by Director of Finance Nancy Crawford via <br /> Communication No. 248, dated June 22, 2011, authorizes accepting a donation of a black <br /> Labrador search dog named Magnum, with an estimated value of$4,500, from the Friends of the <br /> Missing Child Center-Hawai`i, P.O. Box 469, Honolulu, HI 96817. This donated canine will be <br /> used in the Police Department's Kona Juvenile Aide Section to locate missing children. <br /> A letter of appreciation and copy of this resolution be will be sent to Dan Hartenstein, President, <br /> Friends of the Missing Child Center-Hawai`i, P.O.
