The amendment is as follows: <br /> Account No.: Source: <br /> 3301.99 Federal Grants—Victims of Crime Act-ARRA General $ 8,892 <br /> Account No.: Source: <br /> 010.271.5271.85 Victims of Crime Act-ARRA General $ 8,892 <br /> The County of Hawai`i has been awarded $8,892 in additional VOCA-American Recovery and <br /> Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funds from the State of Hawai`i Department of the Attorney General. <br /> These funds are provided in order to continue to provide assistance to victims of felony and <br /> misdemeanor violent crimes. <br /> Pursuant to Section 46-7, Hawai`i Revised Statutes, County Departments must obtain the consent of <br /> the Council to enter into agreements with the federal or state governments respecting action to be <br /> taken pursuant to any of the powers granted by law to furnish, expend and receive any funds or <br /> other assistance in connection with projects being or to be undertaken pursuant to those powers. <br /> FC Report No. 97 <br />
