REPORT OF THE <br /> COMMITTEE ON FINANCE <br /> DATE: August 16, 2011 Re: Comm. 297//Res. 119-11 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Kona, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 9:33 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 119-11, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 119-11, transmitted by Assistant Corporation Counsel Katherine A. Garson, via <br /> Communication No. 297, dated July 25, 2011, accepts the donation of Lot 8 and portion of <br /> L.C.A. 7713, Apana 43, TMKs: (3)7-5-019-025 and 7-6-017-083, for public purpose relating to <br /> the Ali`i Drive Culvert Replacement Project to the County of Hawai`i. These donations, from <br /> Wendell Kwai Sung Foo and Sue Ling Foo, Trustees of the Foo 1980 Trust Agreement, and <br /> Wendell K.S. Foo, have been approved by the Finance, Planning Department, Department of <br /> Public Works, Department of Water Supply, and the Real Property Tax Division. <br /> Ms. Garson and Casey Yanagihara, Engineer from Department of Public Works appeared before <br /> Your Committee.
