REPORT OF THE <br /> COMMITTEE ON FINANCE <br /> DATE: September 7, 2011 Re: Comm. 323/Res. 126-11 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> • <br /> Hilo, Hawaii <br /> TIME 2:34 p.m. --^ <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 =--• <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 126-11, reports-as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 126-11, transmitted by Director of Finance Nancy Crawford via <br /> Communication No. 323, dated August 24, 2011, authorizes the acceptance of the donation of <br /> Ocean Safety Equipment for use by the Hawai`i Fire Department's Ocean Safety Division. The <br /> new Ocean Safety equipment is valued at $9,963.36 from the Daniel Sayre Memorial <br /> Foundation. This equipment will be used by the Hawaii Fire Department's Ocean Safety <br /> division to facilitate the delivery of safety services, preventive actions and basic emergency life <br /> support by Water Safety Officers. <br /> A letter of appreciation will be sent to the Daniel Sayre Memorial Foundation, P.O.
