REQUEST: <br />Approval to enter into a 5 -year multi -year lease agreement for one (1) multi- function copy machine for use by <br />the Department of Information Technology. <br />B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br />Our color printer is over 8 years old and is considered obsolete by the company that used to provide <br />maintenance. We have been informed that replacement parts may no longer be available for fixing the <br />machine and it was . recommended that we replace the unit. Our copier is also 8 years old and is nearing the <br />end of its useful life (constant paper jams, miscellaneous lines, etc), thus parts and repair would cost more <br />than fiscally responsible. <br />We seek replacement of both units with one (1) multi- function copy machine with comparable features. <br />Lease price not to exceed $400 per month, b/w copies shall not exceed 3 cents and color copies shall not <br />exceed 8 cents. <br />SIGNED: <br />Department Head <br />DATE: q/►Yfza, ► <br />
