COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />BILL NO. 111 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 2 OF THE HAWAII <br />COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO MOVING <br />VEHICLES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I: <br />SECTION 1. The purpose of this measure is to assign right of way at the <br />approaches to the subject one lane bridges. <br />SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 2, Section 24- 265(b), Hawai'i <br />County Code 1983 (2005 edition, as amended), is amended by adding the following to be <br />appropriately numbered and to read as follows: <br />(b) North Hilo <br />(1) Kihalani Homestead Road, mauka bound lane; the right turn from Old <br />Mamalahoa Highway. <br />( ) Old Mamalahoa Highway, northbound approach to Bridge No. 29 -2. <br />( ) Old Mamalahoa Highway, southbound approach to bridge adjacent to parcels 3- <br />5 -9:19, 3 -5 -9:20, and 3 -5- 30:49. <br />( ) Old Mamalahoa Highway, westbound approach to Bridge No. 35 -1. <br />SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is <br />underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and <br />underscoring need not be included. <br />SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application <br />thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other <br />provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid <br />
