The bill adds "Old Mamalahoa Highway, northbound approach to Bridge No. 29 -2," "Old Mamalahoa Highway, southbound approach to bridge adjacent to parcels 3 -5 -9:19, 3 -5 -9:20, and 3 -5- 30:49," and "Old Mamalahoa Highway, westbound approach to Bridge No. 35 -1," to Article 10, Division 2, Section 24 -265, Schedule 13 (Yield Locations), paragraph (b), North Hilo. These amendments will assign the right -of -way at the approaches to these one -lane bridges. Comm. 385: A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HAWAII COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF (Res. 167 -11) PUBLIC WORKS TO ESTABLISH A SUSTAINABLE HABITAT ORDINANCE From Council Member K. Angel Pilago, dated September 22, 2011. The resolution requests the Department of Public Works to establish minimum requirements for owners/builders of rural dwellings on agricultural parcels, through waiver or exemption from existing codes, which will allow the use of substitute materials, procedures and alternatives, to the extent that a reasonable degree of health and safety is .provided.
