REQUEST: <br />An ordinance amending Ordinance 11 -60, The Capital Budget, by adding the appropriation: <br />Ka'0 High - Pahala Elementary Gym & CD Shelter (State) $17,900,000.00 <br />State Grants Receivable $17,900,000.00 <br />B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br />Pursuant to Act 160, SLH 2009, Item K11.02, as amended by Act 180, SLH 2010, the Governor <br />authorizes the use of State Funds for the design and construction of a new gymnasium /civil defense <br />shelter on the ground of Ka`u High and Pahala Elementary School. <br />We are requesting an appropriation in the Capital Projects Fund to account for the reimbursable <br />expenditures.
