REPORT OF THE <br />COMMITTEE ON FINANCE <br />DATE: October 4, 2011 <br />PLACE: Council Chambers <br />Hilo, Hawai`i <br />TIME: 1:37 p.m. <br />Council Chair and Members <br />Hawai `i County Council <br />Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br />Re: Comm. No. 373/Res. No. 160 -11 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 160 -11, reports as follows: <br />Resolution No. 160 -11, transmitted jointly with Bill No. 103 by Finance Director Nancy <br />Crawford via Communication No. 373, dated September 22, 2011, authorizes the Mayor to enter <br />into an agreement with the State of Hawaii Department of Health, Alcohol and Drug Abuse <br />Division (ADAD). <br />The State of Hawaii Department of Health, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division (ADAD), is <br />providing funds for the purpose of supporting the Police's efforts to conduct enforcement <br />operations of minors purchasing tobacco.
