BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The Hawaii Department of Health, Family Health Services Division received a grant from the U.S. <br /> Department of Health and Human Services to implement the evidence-based Teen Outreach Program in <br /> Hawaii County. The Prosecuting Attorney's office has agreed to implement the project throughout the island <br /> which will develop positive potential of teens leading to more success and less risk-taking behaviors like teen <br /> violence, school failure and teen pregnancy.
