13.7.3.2.8 The person, company, or firm conducting the inspection, testing, or <br />maintenance of a Fire Alarm system shall affix a tag, sticker, or other form of <br />documentation to that system when completed. Such documentation shall include the <br />date completed, the company name and contact information, the technician performing <br />the test, and the results of such test. All forms of labeling shall maintain their legibility <br />for the life of their use." <br />12. Section 26 -34, as provided in Bill No. 139, is amended to read: <br />"Section 26 -34. Fire Hydrant use and Restrictions. <br />18.1.1.2.1 is added to read: <br />18.1.1.2.1 No unauthorized person shall use or operate any Fire hydrant unless such <br />person first secures permission or a permit from the owner or representative of the <br />department, or company that owns or governs that water supply or system. <br />Exception: Fire Department personnel conducting firefighting operations, hydrant <br />testing, and /or maintenance, and the flushing and acceptance of hydrants witnessed by <br />Fire Prevention Bureau personnel. <br />eeptance of hydrants witnessed <br />by Fire Prevention Bureau personnel: j " <br />RATIONALE: Reformatted. <br />13. Section 26 -36, as provided in Bill No. 139, is amended to read: <br />"Section 26 -36. Fire Department Access Road (FDAR) — Width and Turn around. <br />18.2.3.4.1.1 is amended to read: <br />18.2.3.4.1.1 FDAR [for all structures other than one and two family dwelling units] <br />shall have an unobstructed width of not less than 20[€t] feet with an approved turn <br />around area if the FDAR exceeds 150 feet. <br />Exception: FDAR for [residential] one and two family dwellings shall have an <br />unobstructed width of not less than 15 feet, with an area of not less than 20 feet wide <br />within 150 feet of the structure being protected. An approved turn around area shall be <br />provided if the FDAR exceeds 250 feet." <br />14. Section 26 -41, as provided in Bill No. 139, is amended to read: <br />"Section 26 -41. Fire Department Access Road (FDAR) — Grade. <br />18.2.3.4.6.1 is amended to read: <br />18.2.3.4.6.1 The maximum gradient of a Fire department access road shall not exceed <br />12 percent for unpaved surfaces and 15 percent for paved surfaces.
