The property is located on the east side of Kanoelehua Avenue, <br />approximately 200 feet south of the Kanoelehua Avenue-Hualani Street intersection, Waiakea <br />House Lots, Waiakea, South Hilo, Hawaii. <br />The Commission concurs with the following Planning Director's reasons for recommending <br />favorable consideration of the request: <br />The applicants request a change of zone from Open (0) to the Industrial - <br />Commercial Mixed (MCX-20) district to construct a one-story, 8,000 square foot <br />warehouse/office building with the required number of parking stalls and a loading zone. <br />Plans for Plan Approval and construction permits will be submitted within a year or two <br />after receipt of rezoning approval.
