Ford, Council Member <br />w <br />to <br />SUBJECT: Proposed Amendments to Resolution No. 211 -12; Authorizing The Payment Of <br />Funds Of A Later Fiscal Year And Of More Than One Fiscal Year For A Multi - <br />Year Subscription To The United States & Canada Identification Checking Guide <br />For The Department Of Liquor Control. <br />Please find attached proposed amendments to Resolution No. 211 -12. The proposed <br />amendments are illustrated below in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Resolution <br />No. 211 -12 and bolded for emphasis (material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken through; <br />material to be added is underlined). <br />1) Amend abbreviations of "I.D." to "Identification' in title, fourth and fifth Whereas. <br />2) Add the monetary amounts and number of units in a new Whereas Statement, is <br />amended to read as follows: <br />"WHEREAS, the United States & Canada Identification Checking Guide shall not <br />exceed $20 per guide book including shipping and handling for 500 copies for <br />each of three years for a total of 1,500 copies at a total cost not to exceed $30,000; <br />and" <br />3) Amend the enacting clause to read as follows: <br />"NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br />1.
