PUDDING LASSITER (COUNCIL DISTRICT 1) TO THE POLICE COMMISSION From Mayor Billy Kenoi, dated January 24, 2012, requesting the Council's review and favorable recommendation of the above nomination. AMENDS CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 8, DIVISION 5 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO RESERVED PARKING AT COUNTY FACILITIES Redefines the responsibility of the Director of Public Works, eliminates the monthly rental charge paid by County employees and officials for parking stalls at three County buildings, establishes priorities for assigning reserved parking spaces, and eliminates any shifting of reserved parking privileges. AUTHORIZES THE ACCEPTANCE OF A MONETARY DONATION OF $250 TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION TO SUPPORT THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT'S VULCAN BASEBALL CLINIC Donated by W. H. Shipman, the funds will be used by the Parks and Recreation Department to purchase food and beverages for the Vulcan Baseball Clinic participants.
