'. <br /> .i �''I, <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> Ott Of 40 <br /> • <br /> BILL NO. 187 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 5 OF THE HAWAII <br /> COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO PARKING. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. The purpose of this measure is to address the Hawai`i Police Department's <br /> request to discourage motorists from stopping, standing, or parking in the subject area and blocking <br /> through traffic. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5, Section 24-286, Schedule 34. No stopping, <br /> standing or parking areas, subsection (f), Kona, of the Hawai'i County Code 1983 (2005 edition, as <br /> amended), is amended by adding the following, to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: <br /> (f) Kona <br /> (1) In Captain Cook, on the west side of Route 11, beginning at a point 0.15 mile <br /> south of Napo`opo`o Road (Palipoko Road) intersection in a southerly direction to <br /> Hind Drive. <br /> ) Ka`ahumanu Place, north side, except for signed and marked ADA accessible <br /> parking stalls and loading zone. <br /> SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is <br /> underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and <br /> underscoring need not be included. <br /> SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof <br /> to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or <br /> applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, <br /> and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br />
