Angel Pilago, Vice Chair District 8 <br /> SUBJECT: Fiscal Year 2013 Proposed Annual Operating Budget <br /> Attached for Hawai`i County's review and approval is: <br /> 1) Letter dated January 24, 2012 from HSAC Treasurer Joseph Pontanilla recommending all <br /> four counties to submit their approval or disapproval of the proposed annual operating budget <br /> to the HSAC Executive Committee before May 2012. <br /> Per Section 19 of the bylaws of the Hawai`i State Association of Counties, Inc., requires that <br /> on or before April 1501 , the executive committee shall prepare and submit to each council an <br /> operating budget, and shall adopt the budget at its annual meeting. <br /> I request that this matter be waived from the Governmental Relations Committee and scheduled <br /> for the March 9, 2012 Council Meeting Agenda. <br /> If there are any questions please call me or my staff at (808)323-4280. <br /> Thank you, <br /> KAP/jks )Q I <br /> Comm.
