JNt�,os N , <br /> .'�,�� . <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> • '1>�Of MLA�•. <br /> BILL NO. 201 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 1, SECTION 24-257 <br /> OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO 35 <br /> MILE PER HOUR LIMIT. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`L• <br /> SECTION 1. The purpose of this measure is to revise the 35 mph speed limit area on <br /> Kahakai Boulevard to allow for the implementation of a new 25 mph area fronting Keonepoko <br /> Elementary School. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 1, Section 24-257, Schedule 5. 35 mile per hour <br /> limit, subsection (g)(3) of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), is amended to read <br /> as follows: <br /> (3) Kahakai Boulevard, from a point fifty eight feet northeast of Aama Street <br /> Pundwa Street to its northeastern terminus at the n akai end. <br /> SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is underscored. In <br /> printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and underscoring need not be <br /> included. <br /> SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof <br /> to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or <br /> applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, <br /> and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br />
