No. 582/Bill No. 189 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hawai`i County Building <br /> 25 Aupuni Street <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 1:40 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Bill 189, <br /> reports as follows: <br /> Bill 189, amends Chapter 24, Article 8, Division 1, Section 24-197, (Parking prohibited <br /> during certain hours), subsection(a), by revising paragraph(a): "(a) When official signs <br /> are erected giving notice thereof, no person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle any longer <br /> than is reasonably necessary to take on or discharge passengers or freight, upon any of <br /> the streets or portions thereof within the County, between the hours, indicated on such <br /> signs, of any day, except Sundays and public holidays or as otherwise listed in Schedule <br /> 29, Section 24-281."
