COUNTY OF HAWAII ORDINANCE NO. STATE OF HAWAII BILL NO. 203 63 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 4 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO CROSSWALKS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. The purpose of this measure is to identify the location of the new crosswalk fronting the Keonepoko Elementary School. A part of this effort also includes the removal of an existing crosswalk and stop sign adjacent to a horizontal curve on Kahakai Boulevard southeast of Keonepoko Elementary School. SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 4, Section 24 -276, Schedule 24. Crosswalks, subsection (g). Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 edition, as amended), is ameuded by adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: ( ) Kahakai Boulevard, two hundred forty -two feet northwest of Punawai Street. SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and underscoring need not be included. SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance_ or the application thereof to any person or circumstance. is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
