WHEREAS, Mayor William P. Kenoi has indicated to the community that if the Property is designated number one on the island -wide prioritized list of qualifying lands worthy of preservation by the Public Access, Open Space and Natural Resources Preservation Commission, he would immediately open negotiations with the owner; and WHEREAS, prioritization of the Property as number one will not interfere with the purchase of properties that are currently in negotiations for purchase by the Public Access, Open Space and Natural Resources Preservation Commission; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the Public Access, Open Space and Natural Resources Preservation Commission identify the coastal lands of `O`oma II, in the district of North Kona, County of Hawai`i, as number one on the prioritized list of properties important to purchase. BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this resolution to the Public Access, Open Space, and Natural Resources Preservation Commission, the Honorable Mayor William P.
