'cre <br /> - 16i1� <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII ••=a -== :` STATE OF HAWAII <br /> • <br /> BILL NO. 320 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 5, SECTION 24-280 <br /> OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO <br /> PARKING. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. The purpose of this measure is to restrict parking to provide adequate sight <br /> distance for a driveway that will service a new parking lot adjacent to Gilbert Carvalho Park. This <br /> measure will also discourage people from parking along the roadside in this heavily traveled area. <br /> The purpose of the new parking lot is to provide additional onsite parking for the park. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5, Section 24-280, Schedule 28. No parking at <br /> anytime, subsection(c), South Hilo, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), is <br /> amended by adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: <br /> ( ) Waianuenue Avenue, north(Hamakua side), from Kaumana Drive to Rainbow Drive. <br /> SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is underscored. <br /> In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and underscoring need not be <br /> included. <br /> SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof <br /> to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or <br /> applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, <br /> and to this end,the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br />
